Mikasa Shoji Begins Distributing CELLCROSS @CELL LAN in the USA

TOKYO September 03, 2009 - Mikasa Shoji Co., Ltd. the electronics trading company (Headquarter: Osaka, Japan, CEO: Kozaburo Nakamura, Mikasa Shoji) announces in full effect the distribution of @CELL LAN, the two-dimensional wireless LAN system developed by CELLCROSS Co., Ltd. (Headquarter: Tokyo, Japan, CEO: Tetsuro Kiyomatsu, CELLCROSS) through Mikasa Shoji’s subsidiary, Devicenet USA, Inc. (Headquarter: San Jose, CA, CEO: Hideki Shimizu, Devicenet USA). @CELL LAN distribution will be focused in the USA market.
Until today, Mikasa Shoji has been providing new technology; IT products and IT solutions according to customers’ needs. In today’s business world, wireless LAN technology and wireless internet connection services are growing more than ever. Due to the increase of wireless PC users, problems with interference of wireless signals and security have become an escalating issue.
The newest technology Mikasa Shoji will be unveiling and distributing in the US is called @CELL LAN by CELLCROSS. @CELL LAN uses a special sheet which makes two-dimensional communication possible. This new two-dimensional communication technology controls and limits area for wireless LAN signal to travel through using a typical wired or wireless LAN and wireless internet connection services. Users can access the network simply by placing wireless LAN supported PCs on the Communication Sheet. In addition to requiring a simple ID and password to access the network, wireless Internet disconnects when PCs are removed from the Communication Sheet. Thus this two-dimensional communication technology enables even stronger security by controlling an area which PCs can access the network. Furthermore, @CELL LAN provides a stable communication that does not disconnect signals or decrease communication speed. This innovative technology makes this system stand apart from other wireless products as it is the only one of its kind in the market today.
